My site was oregenaly to be named Undergound.com but that was taken so I changed to uground.com and I checked to see if it was open. It was. By the time I changed all my anchors to match it was taken by some bastard Who wanted to sell it. So I changed the name again. I ended up with a .us address because .us addresses are cheaper then com’s.
If you are trying to find a good host for your web site you should try Doteasy. I went with Doteasy because they are the cheapest and they give you 20MB worth of space for your site. You can find them at the link on the bottom of this page.
I started this site for two reasons.
The problem with simply copying stuff off of other people’s websites is that people who do this very rarely add anything to the data nor do they test any of it. Some times the information is so incorrect that someone could be blown up or even accidentally blow someone else up or poison their friends just by following incorrect directions. I understand that some times stupid people should blow them selves up but they should at least do it a safe distance away from other people. So if you are a web guru who knows nothing about chemistry and far to much about cutting and pasting then I ask you to at least instruct people who read your website to blow themselves up a safe distance away from other people. I will admit that I have learned a lot from other peoples websites, I have even learned most of my HTML from other web sites but those web sites where written by people with P.H.D.’s not junkies who know a little HTML.
This is not just about the web designers it is about society in general. You people are sheep if you read something off of the back of a sweat n low packet or a napkin you found in the gutter you would think it was true. I mean jees god him self told us to verify everything, but no you’d rather just eat cheesy puffs and set in front of a cathode ray tube all day. It’s getting worse and worse every generation too. Just look at our public schools, which are now doing random drug tests on kids as young as 11 years old. In the process of drug testing our kids the test scores are getting worse and worse. Why cant they just give our kids an education and stop wasting our taxis on stupid things that parents should take care of them selves and even if drug testing 11 year olds is a good idea why the hell should I be the one to pay for it. The point is who voted for this crap; apparently you did because some crack head on TV said it would help our G.P.A.
Buying imported stuff is becoming more and more popular now days and that’s all good but what people don’t understand is that importation is responsible for the lack of good jobs hear in America and thus importation hurts our economy. We buy things from other countries in order to save money but not only dose importation cost us our jobs but it causes us to be come dependent on countries "that may not keep feeding us for ever". For example buying a cheap leather jacket from Israel may save you some money now but in the end it will cost your fellow Americans their jobs. Eventually it might even get bad enough that all jackets are produced in Israel. Then if we wanted to bomb them we wouldn’t be able to, because we need our jackets. If you don’t believe me then look at America’s oil situation, we export almost all of the oil produced in America and as a result we are forced to buy our oil from the Middle East, “you already know what kind of problems that can cause”.
What can we do about importation? The only good options are to simply buy things made in America or to create an importation tax. I like the idea of an importation tax because it would help to balance things out and at the same time allow us to decrease the income taxes on our fellow Americans.
End note- If the word uground2 is not blinking like it's suposed to then then you must be using MSN or AOL. Also MSN doesn't suport indentions with the HTML command SPACER which makes it a pain to indent lines of text. If this bothers you than get Netscape or earth link they are cheaper and they work better. For MSN you are suposed to use a option in styles which can be a real pain you could use the list comand <UL> but that is not proper acording to the W3 consortium and it creates several new problems. I ended up using {text-indent} in styles so every time I start a new paragraph using <P> it indents.
